Nattokinase and Serrapeptase can provide inflammation relief, lower cholesterol, prevent blood clots and inhibit cancer cell growth

Doctor's Best Natto-Serra (Nattokinase-Serrapeptase) is a combination of two natural enzymes that have been used as dietary supplements for decades. Serrapeptase (serratio-peptidase) is a protein-digesting enzyme isolated from the friendly bacterium Serratia E-15 discovered in the Japanese silkworm. Nattokinase also digests proteins and is derived from 'natto', a fermented soy food popular in Japan for centuries. This nattokinase does not contain vitamin K. Serrapeptase is formulated with Serrateric, a superior enteric coating alternative that protects the enzyme until it reaches the intestine for optimal absorption.

Nattokinase has been studied for its ability to break down blood clots, improve circulation and reduce blood pressure. Serrapeptase has been used in traditional medicine to reduce inflammation and pain. It is also believed to have fibrinolytic properties, meaning it can break down excess fibrin in the body, which can contribute to blood clots.

Nattokinase and Serrapeptase Benefits

  • Improved circulation:
Both Nattokinase and Serrapeptase have been shown to have fibrinolytic properties, meaning they can break down excess fibrin in blood vessels. Fibrin is a protein that is involved in blood clotting, and too much of it can contribute to blood clots, which can be beneficial to overall cardiovascular health.

  • Reduced inflammation:
Inflammation is a natural response to injury or infection, but chronic inflammation can contribute to a range of health problems, including arthritis, heart disease and cancer. Both Nattokinase and Serrapeptase have been studied for their anti-inflammatory properties and may help reduce inflammation in the body. For example, a study published in the journal Inflammopharmacology found that Serrapeptase was effective in reducing inflammation in people with sinusitis.

  • Improving respiratory health:
Serrapeptase has been shown to have mucolytic properties, meaning it can break down mucus in the respiratory tract. This can be beneficial for people with respiratory conditions such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) or bronchitis, as excess mucus can make breathing difficult. In addition, a study published in the journal Respirology found that Serrapeptase improved lung function in people with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

  • Potential benefits for other conditions:
Nattokinase and Serrapeptase may have other potential health benefits. For example, a study published in the journal Natural Product Research found that Nattokinase had antihypertensive effects, meaning it helped lower blood pressure. In addition, Serrapeptase has been studied for its potential to reduce pain and inflammation in people with conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis and carpal tunnel syndrome.

  • Reducing pain and inflammation:
Both Nattokinase and Serrapeptase have been studied for their potential to reduce pain and inflammation in people with inflammatory conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis. For example, a study published in the journal Alternative Medicine Review found that Serrapeptase reduced pain and inflammation in people with osteoarthritis.

  • Improved wound healing:
Serrapeptase has been shown to promote tissue repair and reduce scar tissue, which may be beneficial for wound healing. For example, a study published in the Journal of Maxillofacial and Oral Surgery found that Serrapeptase improved wound healing and reduced scar tissue in people who underwent oral surgery. Another study published in the journal Planta Medica found that Serrapeptase reduced scar tissue formation in subjects with induced injuries.

  • Potential anti-cancer effects:
Nattokinase has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells. For example, a study published in the journal Oncology Reports found that Nattokinase inhibited the growth of bladder cancer cells. Another study published in the journal Oncology Letters found that Nattokinase inhibited the growth of lung cancer cells.
